Baseball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Greater Beckley Christian

Greater Beckley Christian took a seven-run loss the last time they faced off against Richwood, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Crusaders narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Lumberjacks 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Crusaders: when they faced off against the Lumberjacks last Tuesday, they had to take a 12-5 defeat.

Kaden Bolen was excellent, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Kellan Heffernan, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base.
