Soccer Recap: Western Christian Victorious

Whittier Christian typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Western Christian proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Whittier Christian Heralds, sneaking past 2-1. Noah Keife had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Fighting Lancers.

The win made it two in a row for Western Christian and bumps their season record up to 4-0-1. As for Whittier Christian, with the defeat, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-1.

Western Christian will take on Linfield Christian in a tournament on Thursday. Western Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season. As for Whittier Christian, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Village Christian at 2:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
