Rilen Niclai turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Friday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Eagle River back in April of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock.

Niclai and Service will be playing at home against Bettye Davis East Anchorage at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Thanks in part to Niclai's efforts, the Cougars will roll in undefeated.
