Softball Game Preview: Ridge Community Bolts vs. Davenport Broncos

Ridge Community hasn't had much luck against Davenport recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bolts will head out on the road to challenge the Broncos at 6:00 p.m. Ridge Community has given up an average of 15.4 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Ridge Community is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game on Thursday. They lost 17-4 to Poinciana.

Meanwhile, Davenport scored first but ultimately less than Bishop Moore in their contest on Thursday. They fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 8-7. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Morgan Cresswell made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-4. Leena Sakal also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Davenport now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Ridge Community, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

Ridge Community suffered a grim 18-1 defeat to Davenport in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Bolts avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
