Volleyball Recap: Hope Takes Down Ranked North Providence

Hope faced North Providence in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Blue Wave put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 3-0 win. The Blue Wave were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Cougars, so the Blue Wave were just returning the favor.

The victory made it two in a row for Hope and bumps their season record up to 11-3. As for North Providence, they moved to 6-7 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hope will square off against rival Portsmouth at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, North Providence is set to take on their familiar foe Mt. Hope at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
