Soccer Recap: Springfield Takes a Loss

Springfield and Crater pushed the score to 8-0 the last time they played Crater, but on Saturday defenses reigned supreme. The Millers fell just short of the Comets by a score of 1-0. Considering the last time Springfield couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

Springfield's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1-1 and their overall record down to 6-5-2. As for Crater, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3-2 and their overall record up to 4-5-3.

As of now, neither Springfield nor the Comets have any future games scheduled.
