Volleyball Recap: Amery Takes a Loss

Amery was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 28th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Ladysmith Lumberjacks. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Lumberjacks when the teams met back in October of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Amery's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Ladysmith, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Amery will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Unity at 9:00 a.m. on October 4. As for Ladysmith, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ashland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
