Soccer Recap: Calabasas Wins Going Away Against Taft

Calabasas's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Taft Toreadors as the Calabasas Coyotes made off with a 7-0 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Coyotes needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.

Their offense was hitting Taft from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal.

The victory got Calabasas back to even at 2-2-1. As for Taft, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-1.

After both having extra time off, Calabasas and Westlake will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Westlake will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Calabasas surely won't give up without a fight. As for Taft, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 6-1 loss against Notre Dame (SO) on the 20th.
