Summit Country Day extended the longest winning streak in Miami Valley this week by beating Cincinnati Country Day, 41-7. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
New Miami moved up to 586 from 618 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Vikings climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Cincinnati Christian 49-12.
Lockland's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Se'von Jackson has thrown for 23 yards and one touchdown this season, while Chris Harris has two catches for 18 yards. Jackson also leads the league in rushing with 292 yards.
A big matchup in Miami Valley this week will be when Clark Montessori takes on Summit Country Day. At the moment, the Cougars are in fourth, while Mike Brown's team is in first.
North College Hill took down Lockland 55-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
