Basketball Recap: Rankin Takes a Loss

Rankin lost against Water Valley back in November of 2016 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rankin Red Devils took a 60-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Water Valley Wildcats. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rankin's record is now 9-6. As for Water Valley, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Rankin and Water Valley's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Rankin and Sanderson (who has only given up 21.2 points per game) will meet at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Meanwhile, Water Valley will face off against Garden City at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, a squad that's only allowed 26.82 points per game.
