Football Recap: Faith Christian Falls to Ridgeview Global Studies Academy in First Game of Season

Faith Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 16-0 bruising from the Ridgeview Global Studies Academy Explorers on Monday. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Explorers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Faith Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Adie Walbroel.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Faith Christian will host Orangewood Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ridgeview Global Studies Academy, they will be playing at home against McKeel Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
