Baseball Recap: Maconaquah Braves vs. Marion Giants
While Maconaquah didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Marion Giants on Friday. The Braves haven't had any issues with the Giants recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Caiden Richards spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up six Ks.
