Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Edna Karr). Everything went their way against the South Plaquemines Hurricanes on Wednesday as they made off with a 25-10 victory. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by ten runs or more this season.

Edna Karr got a massive performance out of Raniyah Recasner, who scored four runs and stole four bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Those four runs gave Recasner a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Raleigh Brock, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Edna Karr always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .784. Their OBP was a full 0 higher than the also-impressive .571 that South Plaquemines posted.

Edna Karr pushed their record up to 9-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 21.3 runs over those games.
