Baseball Recap: Neelyville Triumphs

Neelyville made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Senath-Hornersville, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Neelyville never let Senath-Hornersville get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Tigers considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Zak Cowley made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Cowley was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Brayden Newcomb, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Casen Stephens, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
