Trinity Catholic posted their closest victory since February 24th on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Trenton Tigers 4-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Celtics.

Trinity Catholic got a great performance from Oakley Hayhurst as he pitched 5.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. Hayhurst has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Gavin Greathouse, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

Trinity Catholic's record is now 13-4. As for Trenton, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 14-3.

Trinity Catholic and Trenton should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. The Celtics will face off against Forest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (56 vs. 315). Meanwhile, Trenton (ranked 111th) will meet Williston (ranked 326th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
