Baseball Recap: Riverton Comes Up Short

Riverton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 6-1 to the Quapaw Wildcats. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Riverton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-1. As for Quapaw, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 14-15.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverton will challenge Galena on Monday. As for Quapaw, they will square off against Chelsea at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
