Soccer Recap: Anderson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Anderson and East View squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Anderson had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty six goals in the game before, Anderson couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Hugo Sanchez-Lopez, who's now up to 14 this season.

Anderson's loss dropped their record down to 14-4-4. As for East View, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3-6 record this season.

Anderson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East View, they will host Victoria West at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Victoria West's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
