Volleyball Game Preview: Spring Valley Vikings vs. Westwood Redhawks + How To Watch

The Spring Valley Vikings will head out to challenge the Westwood Redhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Westwood took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Spring Valley, who comes in off a win.

Spring Valley was handed a three-set loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Ridge View 3-2.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (106-98) Spring Valley actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 10-25, 25-21, 25-22, 23-25, 15-13.

Meanwhile, Westwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ridge View.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 22-25, 25-16.

Spring Valley's victory bumped their record up to 12-18-1. As for Westwood, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.

Spring Valley took their win against Westwood when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
