Calhan can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They came out on top against Elbert by a score of 9-4. The game was the first time Calhan has beaten Elbert on their field since June 3, 2021.

Joseph Brecko spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up ten Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Wyatt Crippen, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
