Soccer Recap: South Walton Beats Gulf Breeze for Their Second Straight Win

Gulf Breeze typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday South Walton proved too difficult a challenge. They never let the Gulf Breeze Dolphins onto the board and left with a 1-0 win. That's two games straight that the Seahawks have won by just one goal.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Martin Fajardo, who's now up to 18 this season.

The victory made it two in a row for South Walton and bumps their season record up to 12-3-5. As for Gulf Breeze, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-6-3 record this season.

South Walton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gulf Breeze, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Choctawhatchee at 5:30 p.m. on January 28th. Choctawhatchee will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Gulf Breeze surely won't give up without a fight.
