Volleyball Recap: Hot Springs Snags Sixth Victory in Last Eight Games

With a playoff win on the line, Hot Springs rose to the challenge on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Santa Fe Prep Blue Griffins.

Taylor Littleton paced Hot Springs' offense, picking up 16 kills. Littleton got some help from Marquetta Carter and her 16 assists. Littleton was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Hot Springs is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. As for Santa Fe Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-9.

Hot Springs wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against St. Michael's on the 13th. As for Santa Fe Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Ruidoso on the 14th.
