It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Lone Peak ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They beat the Skyridge Falcons by a goal, winning 3-2. Lone Peak haven't had any issues with Skyridge recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Lone Peak's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Skyridge, they moved to 8-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Lone Peak is set to challenge their familiar foe Lehi at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Skyridge will take on rival American Fork at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
