Basketball Recap: Wilmot Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wilmot can now relate to. They took a 70-55 bruising from the Leola/Frederick Titans on Friday. The Wolves have struggled against the Titans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meetings.

Wilmot's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Leola/Frederick, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-4.

Wilmot does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Leola/Frederick, they and Waverly/South Shore will face off at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. Waverly/South Shore has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
