Basketball Recap: Scappoose Comes Up Short

Scappoose was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a hard 47-30 fall against the Seaside Seagulls. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 52-50 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Scappoose's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Seaside, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season.

Scappoose will head out on the road to square off against St. Helens at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Seaside, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Astoria at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th.
