Kellis hadn't done well against Ironwood recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Eagles on April 1st, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

The victory didn't come easy: Ironwood scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-20, 25-22.

Kellis' record is now 5-12. As for Ironwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season.
