Volleyball Recap: Brooklyn Cruse Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Fairlawn

Anna won the last time they faced Fairlawn and things went their way on Thursday too. The Rockets put the hurt on the Jets with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rockets.

One reason for the win was Anna's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-16, 25-13.

Anna got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brooklyn Cruse out in front who had 11 digs. Those 11 digs gave Cruse a new career-high.

When it comes to explaining why Fairlawn lost, don't look at Coley Christy. Despite the final result, she had 19 digs and one assist.

Anna's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Fairlawn, they dropped their record down to 6-14 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Anna didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Parkway on the 6th. As for Fairlawn, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jackson Center at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
