The Alcuin Hawks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 62-21 win over Dallas International at home. That looming 62-21 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Alcuin yet this season.

Alcuin's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jake Walker led the charge by scoring 16 points along with eight steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Walker has scored all season. Spencer Smith was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Alcuin's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Dallas International, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alcuin will take on Wylie Prep Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Wylie Prep Academy's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while Alcuin has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road. As for Dallas International, they will square off against Garland Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
