Baseball Recap: Fremont Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Fremont's offense. They came up short against the Papillion-LaVista Monarchs on Friday, falling 10-0. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Monarchs from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Fremont has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Papillion-LaVista, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Fremont will challenge rival Creighton Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Papillion-LaVista is set to face off against their familiar foe Bryan at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
