Basketball Recap: Mt. Baker Takes a Loss

Mt. Baker lost against Lynden Christian back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Mt. Baker Mountaineers had to suffer through a 92-43 loss at the hands of the Lynden Christian Lyncs. While losing is never fun, the Mountaineers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 198th, while the Lyncs are ranked 13th).

Mt. Baker's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Lynden Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Mt. Baker nor Lynden Christian have any future games scheduled.
