Aidan Andrews was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. That stolen base was his first of the season.

Andrews wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Logan Walker, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple marked the first that Walker hit this season.

Horizon Honors' victory bumped their record up to 6-2-1. As for Chandler Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.

Horizon Honors didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-0 win against Veritas Prep on the 26th. As for Chandler Prep, they have also already played their next matchup, a 17-2 loss against Scottsdale Christian Academy on the 26th.
