Maynard strolled into their game  on Friday with a perfect  record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Gardner Wildcats with a sharp  13-2 win. Considering the Tigers have won three matchups by more than eight  runs this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Max Mandler was a  major factor no matter where he played. He  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Mandler was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with one  run and one  double. That  double was  his first of the season.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Max Cedeno, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, two  stolen bases,  and five  RBI. That  home run marked the first that  he has  launched this season.  Will Molloy was another key player,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
 Maynard  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits every time they've taken the field this season.
Maynard's victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 6-0. As for Gardner, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record  this season.
