Volleyball Recap: Vidor Comes Up Short

Vidor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hardin-Jefferson Hawks. The Pirates were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Vidor's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Hardin-Jefferson, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Vidor will take on West Fork in a tournament on Friday. As for Hardin-Jefferson, they will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Tarkington at 12:00 p.m.
