Shawnee took a five-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Bishop Kelley, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Wolves skirted past the Comets 2-1. This was payback for Shawnee, who suffered a 5-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Jack Ford and Toby Nave scored both of Shawnee's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

The victory made it two in a row for Shawnee and bumps their season record up to 4-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those two contests. As for Bishop Kelley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Coincidentally, Shawnee and Bishop Kelley will both be playing McAlester the next time they take the pitch. The Comets will head out to face the Buffaloes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Wolves will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
