Strasburg hasn't had much luck against Eaton recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Indians will head out on the road to face off against the Reds at 7:00 p.m.
On Tuesday, Strasburg came up short against Fort Morgan and fell 3-1.
Strasburg started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-16, 25-18, 25-21.

Despite the loss, Strasburg got top-tier performance from Jenna Echer, who had 19 digs and five aces. Echer has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last six times she's played.
Meanwhile, Eaton came tearing into Tuesday's contest with 11 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Rebels with a sharp 3-0 win.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Eaton took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-7, 25-13.
Strasburg better focus on containing Hayden Logan and Harley Forster as the pair were huge in Eaton's win. Logan had six digs and three aces, while Forster had two aces. That's the most aces Logan has posted over her last six matchups.
Eaton was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in four consecutive matches.
Eaton's record now sits at 12-1. As for Strasburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Thursday's contest: Strasburg has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 8.9 aces per game. However, it's not like Eaton struggles in that department as they've been averaging 9.1 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Strasburg suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Eaton in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Indians avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
