Jacob Grant Turns in Season-Best Performance

Baxter Springs was led to victory by Jacob Grant, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Grant picked up 210 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Baxter Springs was led to victory by Caleb Grant, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Grant picked up 156 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 53 yards.

On the season, Grant has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 46.3 receiving yards per game.

Simmons Came Up Big in St. Mary's-Colgan's 41-8 Win

St. Mary's-Colgan picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Carston Simmons. Simmons did his part (and then some), throwing for 153 yards and two touchdowns on only ten passes, while also punching in a rushing score for the 'W'.

St. Mary's-Colgan pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Simmons and St. Mary's-Colgan will head out to square off against Southeast at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
