Soccer Game Preview: Bassick vs. St. Joseph + How To Watch

The Bassick Lions will challenge the St. Joseph Cadets at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Bassick's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while St. Joseph has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Bassick had been on a four-game streak of scoring at least four goals, but Stratford put an end to it on Saturday. The Lions came up short against the Red Devils, falling 4-1.

Meanwhile, St. Joseph fell victim to Stamford and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell just short of the Black Knights by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, St. Joseph can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut soccer rankings (they are ranked 97th, while Stamford are ranked 20th).
