Basketball Recap: Belle Fourche Find Success

Belle Fourche's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 56-45 win over the Philip Scotties.

When it comes to explaining why Philip lost, don't look at Drew Terkildsen. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine boards. Those 24 points gave Terkildsen a new career-high. Josie Jones was another key player, going 5 of 10 on her way to 10 points.

Belle Fourche now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Philip, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Belle Fourche will venture away from home to take on Sundance at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Philip, they will welcome Faith at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
