Recap: NCSSM: Durham Unicorns vs. Research Triangle Raptors
There's no place like home for the NCSSM: Durham Unicorns, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Wednesday. They walked away with a 54-44 win over Research Triangle on Tuesday. That's another feather in the cap for NCSSM: Durham, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Ethann Burkett continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 26 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Arthur Zhao, who scored 17 points.
NCSSM: Durham's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Research Triangle, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
NCSSM: Durham won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Northeast Guilford at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th. Hopefully Northeast Guilford focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 last Monday. As for Research Triangle, they will head out on the road to challenge Franklin Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
