Softball Recap: Pine Tree Takes a Loss

Pine Tree fell victim to Lindale and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 15-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Pirates were not able to get on the board.

Pine Tree now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Lindale, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Pine Tree wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 14-4 victory against Jefferson on the 17th. As for Lindale, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-1 win against Troup on the 17th.
