Softball Recap: Apache Junction Comes Up Short

Apache Junction was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 20-0 to the Seton Catholic Sentinels. If the Prospectors were looking for revenge after losing 10-3 to the Sentinels when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Apache Junction's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Seton Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3-2 record this season.

Apache Junction will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Florence at 3:45 p.m. As for Seton Catholic, they will venture away from home to take on Valley Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
