Recap: Peetz Bulldogs vs. Prairie Mustangs
The Peetz Bulldogs gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They blew past Prairie 72-32 at home. With Peetz ahead 47-18 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Peetz had a senior duo take command as Aiden Hill scored 16 points and Noah Naegele scored 9 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals. Rhyder Bayne was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with 3 steals.
Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Derek Dollerschell, who scored 6 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Butler, who scored 6 points along with 5 rebounds.
Peetz's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Prairie, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Peetz will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Otis at 3:00 p.m. As for Prairie, they will head out on the road to face off against Caliche at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
