Basketball Recap: Z John Williams Takes a Loss

Z John Williams is still winless after their game against Akula Elitnaurvik on Friday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 71-69 heartbreaker at the hands of the Akula Elitnaurvik Tundra Foxes. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game two weeks ago (57), the Hawks still had to take the loss.

Among those leading the charge was Christopher Alexie, who posted 19 points. Lance Isaac was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Z John Williams' defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Akula Elitnaurvik, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-2.

As of now, neither Z John Williams nor Akula Elitnaurvik have any future games scheduled.
