Volleyball Recap: Stall Comes Up Short

Stall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Military Magnet Academy Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Stall started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-21, 25-15.

Stall's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Military Magnet Academy, their win ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-5-1.

Coming up, Stall will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Summerville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Military Magnet Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against North Charleston on the 4th.
