One reason for the loss might be Jacksonville's aggressive play style: Troy DeFrates and Avery Stewart were both handed yellow cards.

Jacksonville's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Belleville West, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Jacksonville will challenge Parkway North at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Belleville West, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 victory against Mascoutah on the 28th.
