Baseball Recap: Basic Wins High-Profile Game Against Riverton

Basic is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Riverton. The Wolves walked away with a 9-6 win over the Silverwolves. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

Dillon Lee looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Andruw Giles was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2025. Ace Sapp was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.
