Soccer Game Preview: Batesburg-Leesville vs. Pelion

Batesburg-Leesville will head out to square off against Pelion at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pelion took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Batesburg-Leesville, who comes in off a win.

Batesburg-Leesville is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They blew past American Leadership Academy 4-0 last Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what Batesburg-Leesville needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

They hit American Leadership Academy with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jamin Rodriguez, Riley Whittle, Avelardo Cabrera, and Landen Burgess.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Pelion's offense. They lost 4-0 to Gilbert last Wednesday. Pelion have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pelion's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Batesburg-Leesville, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-8.
