Loudon had lost three games at home, but after bumping their record up to 4-8  on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lenoir City Panthers, sneaking past  3-2. This was a revenge game for the Redskins: when they faced off against the Panthers  on April 1st, they had to take a  10-4  defeat.
As for Lenoir City, their loss  ended  a  six-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 12-6. They were red-hot at the plate heading into the  match (they scored no less than ten  runs in the four  contests prior), but Loudon's pitchers proved too tough.
 For Lenoir City's part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Reagan Helton, who  went 1-for-3 with one  run and one  double.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Loudon will square off against Midway at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Lenoir City, they will take on Heritage at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday.
