Baseball Recap: Madison West Takes a Loss

Madison West managed to slip by Verona the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Regents lost 10-2 to the Wildcats on Tuesday. Surprisingly, this marked the Regents' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Madison West has been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-17 record this season. As for Verona, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

Madison West has already played their next game (against DeForest), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Verona will be paying especially close attention to the Regents' contest: after the Regents face off against the Norskies, they'll take on Verona again at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
