Basketball Recap: Chaparral Takes Down Midlothian in a Playoff Battle

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Chaparral walked away with it. They took down the Midlothian Panthers 67-49 on Tuesday.

Chaparral is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 24-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.1 points over those games. As for Midlothian, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-14.

Coming up, Chaparral will square off against North Mesquite at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Midlothian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
