Basketball Recap: Mountain Home's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Cole Valley Christian came into Thursday's game looking for another win against Mountain Home, but Lexi Longhurst wouldn't allow it. The Mountain Home Tigers blew past the Cole Valley Christian Chargers, posting a 57-24 win thanks in part to Longhurst, who went 10 of 17 on her way to 27 points and six steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last four games she's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Johnson, who posted three points and three steals. That's the most steals she has posted since back in November of 2023.

The victory (which was Mountain Home's third in a row) raised their record to 10-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Cole Valley Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Mountain Home and Rocky Mountain will face off at 3:15 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Mountain Home is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.5 points per game this season. As for Cole Valley Christian, they and Minico will face off at 4:45 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
